Updated Tumbling Program Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in our Tumbling Classes. We have made a few changes and modifications to our Tumbling Sessions based on your feedback. Our tumbling program has grown very rapidly, and we are working as quickly as possible to make improvements.

A few reminders…

Athletes should utilize the benches provided for their gear. ONLY Athletes and instructors are permitted in the training area during classes. Parents that stay to watch the classes are invited to stay in the Parent Viewing Area. Athletes are required to wear socks and sneakers for the classes

Tumbling Class Requirements

Use the below listings to determine which class is most appropriate for your athlete. If you have any questions about which class to schedule, please email us at info@heatallstars.com to schedule a gym tour and evaluation.

Beginner Class Requirements

NONE

This class focuses on basic skills and body shaping drills. The below skills will be trained and perfected in this class.

  • Forward Roll
  • Handstand
  • Cartwheel
  • Roundoff
  • Backwards Roll
  • Straddle Roll
  • Handstand Forward Roll
  • Bridge
  • Standing Back Bend

Intermediate Class Requirements

Completion of all Skills in Beginner Class

This class will focus on body control and core strength.

  • Back Walkover
  • Front Walkover
  • Round off Rebound
  • Double Back Walkover
  • Back Walkover Switch

Handspring Class Requirements

Completion of all Skills in Intermediate Class

This class will focus on proper back handspring technique.
  • Running Back Handspring
  • Standing Back Handspring
  • Standing Series Back Handspring
  • Back Handspring Step Out Back
  • Handspring
  • Back Walkover Back Handspring
  • Running Series Back Handspring

Advanced Class Requirements

Completion of all Skills in Handspring Class

This class will focus on aerial skills.
